How We Work

We start with an in-depth discovery meeting to understand your brief and set clear goals and aspirations. Following this, we conduct a comprehensive Home Consultation, where we explore each room’s design potential. For new builds, this process is similarly detailed, utilizing plans instead of an on-site assessment. We gather vital information through photographs, notes, and measurements to develop a clear Project Scope and initial budget projection for the Design Fee, which can be adjusted as needed.

Once the Scope of Work and Design Fee Proposal are agreed upon, we transition into the creative design phase. We compile insights from our discovery meeting to create image boards for each room, refining the style direction. If architectural plans aren’t available, a full site survey may be required. We then focus on the property’s interior architecture, designing room layouts in CAD with innovative space planning solutions. These plans are completed with proposed furniture layouts, ensuring each interior area is ergonomic, functional, and perfectly fits your needs.

We refine the technical aspects of the project by creating detailed joinery designs in elevation and plan. These are sent out for tender to our trusted contractors to ensure accurate pricing. We also specify the layouts and styles for bathrooms, kitchens, and wardrobes, working closely with suppliers to select finishes, fittings, and materials such as sanitaryware, worktops, tiles, and fixtures. We visit showrooms to select the final products, colours, and textures that align with your style and budget.

Additionally, we propose initial furniture and lighting options, presenting them through image boards and costing schedules for your review. After discussing and refining these selections in detail, we sign off on the final choices. The furniture layouts are then finalized, and a decorative lighting plan is developed. If needed early in the project, we can prepare a lighting plan for first fix, with the final decorative lighting plan issued once all fixtures are selected, ensuring a cohesive and functional design

In the Final Proposal phase, we refine every detail to ensure the design aligns perfectly with your vision. Fabrics and wallpapers for bespoke furniture and window treatments are preselected and presented for your approval, either at your home or in a meeting room. We also choose wall paint colours, providing samples for in-situ viewing, and update costings accordingly. Additional advisory sessions can be arranged to review paint samples on-site if needed.

We finalize all finishes, including wood stains, paints, and lighting specifications, and refine joinery designs with detailed working drawings for the craftsmanship team. Once the furnishings costings are approved, a deposit is made to proceed with ordering, bringing the exciting, tangible elements of your interior design to fruition.

For furniture installation, we manage and coordinate every detail to bring your design to life effortlessly, working closely with trusted contractors and suppliers. Our white glove team handles all unpacking and placement with care and precision, following the detailed plan. Emma personally visits the site during the final stages to advise on finishing touches, such as mirror placements, ensuring a polished, cohesive, and flawless result.

The finishing touches make all the difference we offer a bespoke styling service that elevates your beautifully designed home by adding objects of beauty that reflect your personality. This service is typically undertaken after the FF&E has been finalized and ordered. Emma’s extensive experience as a visual merchandiser and stylist enables her to expertly curate art, accessories, and decorative objects such as prints, books, faux flowers, and plants, creating a cohesive and personalized finishing touch. The process includes a proposed budget, sourcing of accessories, and a detailed costing schedule, followed by delivery, installation, and styling in your home to perfectly display your new objects of beauty.
